My printer prints the entire page and doesn't give an error, but some of the text is missing on the 5500-series forms, What should I do?

We recommend that you update your printer drivers, which are generally available from the printer manufacturer's web site. Also, we have reports that this may happen if the printer is connected via serial port rather than parallel. Hewlett Packard's advice was to switch to parallel, and that solved the problem in one case we are aware of. If installing the updated driver and switching to parallel doesn't fix the problem, please contact DATAIR Technical Support so we can pass the information on to the DOL EFAST contractors. Note: Since we are required to use the EFAST-supplied printing component for the 5500-series forms, this is beyond DATAIR's control. Additional Information (posted 5/23/2000): We recommend that you DELETE the printer from your printers folder and then select Add New Printer and reinstall the printer using the new driver. We have information that just installing the updated drivers alone may not solve the problem. For information on adding printers, consult "Add Printer Wizard" in your Windows Help system. The only printers we have seen this behavior on are HP LaserJet 4, 5, and 6P.
