It takes a long time to print the 5500-series forms. Why?
Unfortunately, this is beyond DATAIR's control. The DOL requires us to use their printing components to print the EFAST forms. The 2-D barcode takes a lot of printer processing power to create. It's common for a single page to take 20 to 40 seconds to print, depending on the specific printer. This is a common complaint when printing EFAST forms on HP LaserJet II series printers. Newer printers work dramatically better.
