401(K) DEPARTMENT HEAD (Burlingame, CA)
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to head our 401(K)
department. Primary responsibility is to make sure our website cases run
smoothly including the following:
Aiding new clients to become comfortable with the web interface to their
payroll system.
Responding to day to day questions and special service issues.
Creating simple client responsibility procedure checklists.
Converting takeover clients to our system.
Processing payouts, loans, and distributions.
Perform plan administration and trust accounting.
As department head, you will coordinate with other key staff members in the
hiring of new members to your team.

products or compromise our independence. We perform customized plan
administration with a high degree of pension knowledge. Our 401(k) programs are
among the best around. Internally we subscribe to an open door communication
management style where we share budget and financial results with employees.
Staff input is welcome relating to usage of profits on infrastructure. We openly
disclose the percentage of the remaining profits to be allocated to the staff
and ownership. We are planning more broad based ownership soon.
Minimum Requirements:
-B.S. Degree with good GPA.
-Extreme attention to details and accuracy.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Managerial ability (management experience a plus).
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Good math skills.
-Entry level knowledge of Word and Excel.

401(K) PLAN ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking for an excellent candidate with a strong desire to learn 401(K)
plan administration, and the potential to be an excellent case manager. Employee
manager is also an eventual possibility. This position requires excellent
analytical abilities, extreme attention to detail, accuracy, and problem solving
ability. It is imperative that the candidate possess excellent verbal and
written communication skills, and the ability to provide an extremely high level
of service to our clients.
As a 401(k) plan administrator you will guide clients through the three websites
used for 401(k) plan administration and record keeping. In addition to training
clients that are new to the websites, you will be involved in day to day
questions & problems that may arise, routine processing of distributions and
loans, and learning an array of administration functions that relate to running
a 401(k) program. You will also learn pension plan administration and can study
to be a QPA (Qualified Pension Administrator), or CPC (Certified Pension
Consultant).
